Villa Crête is a complete interior and architectural design of a private alpine residence, built to feel as grounded in its landscape at dusk as it does in daylight. The brief called for a home that revealed itself slowly as evening fell, the warmth of the interior glowing against the quiet of the mountains outside.

We designed the residence to be experienced from the outside in. Timber and stone were chosen to hold warmth and weight against the alpine backdrop, while every window was positioned to let interior light spill outward as the sky darkened. The result is a home that feels most alive at dusk, when the contrast between the cold mountain air and the warm glow within is at its strongest.
Inside, the same restraint carried through every room, materials kept honest and tactile, nothing competing with the view beyond. Villa Crête was designed to belong to its setting completely, a residence that feels discovered rather than built.
